New personal pages for employees

The new personal webpages will be launched October 22. K2 encourage all employees to use their page. Editing of the pages will be possible from October 7, and all employees will receive an e-mail concerning at that time.

The new solution provides far greater flexibility to edit the page content than before. This gives you the opportunity to highlight what is most important in your work.

Writing course for researchers

skrivingUiB is holding a writing course for scientists who want to deliver their message to a general audience outside the university. The course is suitable for those who want to learn to write accurate feature articles, blogs, letters to the editor, and other texts for a general audience.

Friday Guest Lecture Series in Molecular and Computational Biology at HiB

The Department of Molecular Biology, the Sars Centre, and the Computational Biology Unit have a joint Friday Guest Lecture Series in Molecular and Computational Biology at Marineholmen (HiB). Everyone interested are welcome. Lectures are normally held on Fridays at 13:30 at The Department of Molecular Biology Seminar Room (“The N-terminal”). Mini Seminar on the new study outline

The semester board for the first year students, in collaboration with the project team for the new study outline, invite lecturers of first year of medicine / dentistry students to a mini seminar on the new study outline November 4th, at 12.00 to 16.00, the conference room BBB. The purpose of the seminar is to provide information on the status of planning and discussion of teaching and assessment methods that will stimulate students’ learning. Program Sensor Charlotte Ringsted will also participate in the discussion.

professor Charles ArntzenThe Biotechnology Advisory Board invites to an open meeting with Professor Charles Arntzen who is one of the world’s leading researchers in vaccine development, and the man behind the technology used in the Ebola medicine ZMapp.
