In a lab in the K2-area in the 8th floor of the lab-building, there is BioRad equipment for gel documentation.

The equipment was purchased with funds from the Hormone Laboratory Fund in 2006, and can be used for image documentation and quantification of protein gels and immunoblot. Contact person for the equipment is Alba Kaci in the research group at the Hormone Laboratory. New users must contact Alba (alba.kaci@uib.no) for training and introduction to procedures. Everyone who uses the instrument must sign the logbook located by the equipment.
