EMBO Workshops

Funding for meetings that stimulate exchanges of the latest scientific knowledge

The deadlines for applications are 1 March 2024 and 1 August 2024, 12:00 noon CE(S)T

EMBO Workshops bring together scientists to present and discuss the latest findings in their subject areas related to the life sciences.  Scientists can apply to organize a conference in their field. This bottom-up approach ensures that the portfolio of scientific meetings funded by EMBO reflects the needs and developments of the scientific community.

In addition to providing the basic funding for the meeting, EMBO assists organizers in promoting the workshop and creating a webpage with a registration and abstract submission system.
