Poster at the UoB’s conference on cooperation with China

UoB has had a longstanding research collaboration with China, and was a pioneer among Norwegian universities with such an initiative. UoB is now strengthening its cooperation with institutions and organizations in China, and hereby invites business partners, government employees, students and other stakeholders to an open conference on the university’s cooperation with China, and to participate with posters in a poster session.

Time: Thursday 4 May at. 09–16.
Location: University Aula.

Deadline for registration: Thursday 20 April at. 12 pm.
More information and registration form can be found here.

Deadline for registration of poster: 10 April.
Deadline to submit poster: 20 April.
Registration and poster should be sent to Åshild Nylund.

An important purpose of the conference is to highlight the University’s extensive research and education cooperation with Chinese universities. As part of the conference, a poster exhibition will be held in the main hall where research groups are invited to present collaborative projects with China. All faculties are invited to submit one to two posters.

Groups who wish to participate with posters, should send Åshild Nylund a message about this before 10 April. The secretariat of the conference will take care of printing and mounting in the main hall. The poster exhibition will be given particularly attention during lunch time at the conference. It is desirable that at least one person from the academic community can represent the poster at the exhibition. It is also planned to show the poster exhibition at the student center for a period after the conference.

The posters should be made according to a specific template with the UoB profile (contact Åshild Nylund about this), and the content must communicate to a wide audience. Any advice on layout and visual effects are found here.

Inquiries about poster template and other questions can be directed to Åshild Nylund (55 58 91 70) at the University’s Division of Communication, or Kari Fuglseth (55 58 20 20) at the University Director’s office.
