Welcome to an open meeting Thursday 14 January on the introduction of a new strategy for the University of Bergen 2016-2022

After an extensive process, the Board of the University of Bergen has adopted a new strategy for UiB, “Sea – Life – Society». Enthusiastic students and staff contributed many important suggestions and corrections along the way.

The strategy is now about to be implemented, and the process will be followed both by the management and by the faculties and departments. We therefore invite to an open information meeting on Thursday 14 January, where there will be information about the process from the Rector’s Office.

The meeting will take place in Auditorium 4, in Bygg for Biologiske Basalfag, from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

The strategy document can be read here (in Norwegian). It will also be published in a an English version. The printed version and a short version can be obtained from the Communications Department. The strategy will apply for the period 2016 – 2022. In 2019, we will involve students and all employees to a review and evaluation of the policies and measures that the strategy proposes.
