We are delighted to announce that in 2016 the congresses of EASO (ECO2016) and the IFSO European Chapter (2016 IFSO-EC Annual Congress) will merge to create the inaugural European Obesity Summit (EOS2016). This exciting congress will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden from 1 to 4 June 2016.

The Organising Committee has created a vibrant platform which will bring together colleagues from every area of obesity research, prevention and management. The programme will devote significant session time to the traditional ECO and IFSO topics but will in addition create exciting joint sessions designed to encourage new ways of thinking. The EOS2016 programme will include a mix of plenary lectures, oral communications, poster sessions and symposia.

Help us create a conference that you want to attend. We’re welcoming suggestions for symposia so please use the online submission form to propose your session by Friday 27 November 2015.

Please note that standard abstract submission will open in October 2015 with a submission deadline of Friday 15 January 2016. Further information on submission and the scientific programme is available on the congress website.
