Invitasjon til brukeropplæring i EcoExposure – påminnelse

UiB og K2 skal benytte EcoExposure som eksponeringsregister for ansatte og studenter som kan bli eksponert for stoffer som kan gi alvorlige sykdommer over tid. K2 får besøk av Bente-Lise Lillebø fra HMS-avdelingen, som skal informere om hvordan vi som brukere skal registrere eksponering.

[:no]Horizon 2020 – innspill på Advisory Group report[:en]Horizon 2020 – input on the Advisory Group report[:]

[:no]Advisory Group (AG) rapporten for Samfunnsutfordringer innen helse, demografiske endringer og livskvalitet (SC1) er nå tilgjengelig. Rapporten er rådgivende for utformingen av arbeidsprogrammet for SC1 for perioden 2018-2020. Dette er beskrevet i forordet.  AG-rapporten vil brukes som bakgrunn for diskusjonene i møtet mellom AG og Programkomiteen (PC) den 21. september 2016.  Programkomiteen skal gi innspill på vegne av Norge. Gode innspill legger grunnlaget for dette.

Innspill til rapporten kan sendes Kristin Andersen (kran@rcn.no) , senest torsdag 30. juni.
Innspill og kommentarer må skrives inn i vedlagte skjema .

AG advice report 2018-2020
Skjema[:en]The Advisory Group (AG) report for Social Challenges in health, demographic change and quality of life (SC1) is now available. The report is advisory for the design of the work programme for SC1 for the period 2018-2020. This is described in the preface. The AG report will be used as the basis for discussions at the meeting between the AG and the programme committee on 21 September 2016. The programme comittee will provide input on behalf of Norway. Good suggestions paves the way for this.

Input on the report can be sent to Kristin Andersen (kran@rcn.no), no later than Thursday 30 June. Suggestions and comments must be entered in the attached form.

[:no]Vedlikehold på Systec autoklaver[:en]Service on the Systec autoclaves [:]

[:no]Systec autoklaver i Labbygget blir vedlikeholdt i uke 25 (20.-24- juni 2016). Det betyr at maskinene vil være ute av drift for et par dager. Brukere må sjekke loggboken før de begynner sterilisasjonssyklusen, for å forsikre seg om at autoklaven er funksjonell igjen.[:en]Systec autoclaves in the Laboratory building are undergoing service in week 25 (20.-24.June, 2016). This means the machines will be out of order for a few days. Users are advised to check the logbook prior to starting the sterilization process in order to make sure the autoclave is back to being fully functional.[:]

[:no]Informasjonsmøte – opplæringsprogram for postdoktorer[:en]Information Meeting – Educational Programme for Postdocs[:]

[:no]Postdoktorprogram ved Det medisinsk-odontologiske fakultet

Det medisinsk-odontologiske fakultet vil fra i høst sette i gang et opplæringsprogram for postdoktorer. Det er et behov for å tilføre kompetanse til postdoktorene som både vil være av betydning for deres fremtidige virke innen akademia og i andre stillinger. Dette vil både styrke postdoktorenes kompetanse, bidra til å skape et fellesskap blant postdoktorene og gjøre stillingen som postdoktor ved MOF mer attraktiv. Programmet vil bestå av ulike moduler.

Dere inviteres herved til et informasjonsmøte omkring dette, hvor dere vil få nærmere informasjon om innhold og omfang.  Merk at dette gjelder alle postdoktorer, ikke bare de som er UiB-finansiert.

prodekan[:en]Postdoctoral Programme at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry

This autumn the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will initiate an educational programme for postdoctoral fellows. There is a need to provide the post-docs with expertise that will be important both for their future work in academia and in other jobs. An educational programme will increase the postdoctors’ expertise, help to create a community among post-docs and make the postdoctoral positions at the faculty more attractive. The programme will comprise different modules.

You are hereby invited to an information meeting about the programme, where there will be further information about the contents and scope. Note that this applies to all postdoctoral fellows, not only those who are funded by UoB.

[:no]Informasjonsmøte: FORNY2020 og BIOTEK2021[:en]Information meeting: FORNY2020 and BIOTEK2021[:]

[:no]Have you considered to apply for funding from FORNY2020 or BIOTEK2021?

In 2015, the Norwegian Research Council allocated 300 million NOK through the funding programs FORNY2020 and BIOTEK2021. The programs target research projects with a commercial potential, and can be used to conduct testing, upscaling and continuation etc. The next deadline is 7th of September.

The Norwegian Research Council visits Bergen 21. of June to inform researchers about FORNY2020 and BIOTEK2021. This is an opportunity to get information and ask questions to advisers with first-hand information about the programs. Join our info meeting to get all the information you need.
