The Norwegian Cancer Society's fundraising campaign will kick off on Sunday, March 15, 2026. People all over the country will take part in the most important Sunday walk of the spring to raise money for the cancer cause.
The money raised for the Norwegian Cancer Society's fundraising campaign helps ensure that patients who could benefit from it can receive a genetic test. This could open up new treatments that could extend the lives of more people.

The Infection Control Act from 1994 is currently under revision. The Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet has conducted a broad and comprehensive review of the Act to ensure that the necessary legal authority is in place to handle potential crisis situations. Experiences from the COVID 19 pandemic have been central to this work, but the Defence Commission, the Civil Protection Act, and the Health Preparedness Report have also provided grounds for changes. Provisions used every day in the country’s municipalities and hospitals have been assessed.
