HK-dir has introduced a new budget model that provides the University of Bergen with increased funding. In addition, we have available funds from the extra allocation in spring 2026.
For autumn 2026 and spring 2027, greater flexibility in allocations will therefore be allowed, including the temporary removal of the limit of a maximum of two participants per activity.
Response and disbursement
Decisions on applications will be sent electronically to the applicant, with the department/unit copied. This is in line with the fact that funds are normally awarded to the department/unit.
Regarding training mobility
It must be clearly stated in the application that the stay:
includes a concrete learning outcome and/or contributes to academic and professional development
According to the Erasmus Handbook, support is not awarded for:
- participation in events that mainly consist of passive listening (lectures, presentations, etc.), without significant elements of active learning
- conferences or similar events aimed at a single academic discipline only, without structured training or active participation
- travel to establish or maintain institutional cooperation with partner institutions (such activities can be financed through OS funds)
Deadline: 8 September. Signed application with formal requirements fulfilled may be sent eirik.thorsheim within the deadline.
