Just before the summer vacation, we received the good news that Professor Emmet Mc Cormack has been granted his FRIPRO project "DogBiTE, a predictive and therapeutic platform" (https://www.forskningsradet.no/nyheter/2026/241-millionar-banebrytande-forsking/). At the beginning of June, together with Callum Leitch and Charlotte Davoust, he also received a grant from the UiB idé for the project "Standardized Translational Expansion Platform for Hematopoietic Stem Cells (STEP-HSC)". Congratulations!
In connection with the budget proposal for 2027 and the long-term budget, we see that we are on the right track and are in the process of reversing the negative trend. Thank you for helping to get into balance!
I hope everyone gets some time to relax this summer so that we can start a new autumn semester with new energy and commitment.
