The program aims to strengthen participants’ development as group leaders, provide inspiration to build good research environments and ensure good framework conditions for research and research collaboration. Through the program, participants will work on challenges from their own everyday lives.

Target group
• Participants must be group leaders for research groups or research projects
• Participants should normally be employed at least 80% at UiB.
• Participants must have at least one year left of leadership responsibility at the start of the program
• Those participating in other leadership programs at UiB will not be given priority.

The program consists of 2 sessions that run over two months. Each session is built up of thematic blocks that are introduced by short professional presentations and contributions of experience, and form the basis for individual reflection and discussions/work in groups.

• Session 2: 22-23 October 2025
