[:no]Norske forskarar og bedrifter kan no søkje om å bli med i 70 nye COST-nettverk som startar opp i 2025. Forskingsrådet erfarer at deltakarane i desse nettverka har auka sjansar for å lykkast i EUs Horisont Europa.
Nettverka, i regi av European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), er internasjonale nettverk mellom forskarar og dekkjer alle fag, disiplinar og sektorar.
Deltakarane bringar inn si eiga forsking i nettverket og COST gir støtte til møte, seminar og konferansar i nettverket, sommarskular og korte forskingsopphald. COST finansierer ikkje forsking.
Fleire norske deltakarar Forskingsrådet har vore i kontakt, med meiner det er verdifullt å delta i COST-nettverk for å danne konsortium til Horisont Europa-søknader.
Særleg forskarar tidleg i karrieren kan ha nytte av å delta i COST-nettverk.

[:en]Norwegian researchers and companies can now apply to join 70 new COST networks starting in 2025. The Research Council finds that participants in these networks have increased chances of success in the EU’s Horizon Europe.
The networks, under the auspices of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), are international networks between researchers and cover all subjects, disciplines and sectors.
The participants bring their own research to the network and COST provides support for meetings, seminars and conferences in the network, summer schools and short research stays. COST does not fund research.
Several Norwegian participants The Research Council has been in contact with, who believe that it is valuable to participate in COST networks to form a consortium for Horizon Europe applications.
Researchers early in their careers in particular can benefit from participating in COST networks.
