Announcement of research funding from Gades Legat
Bergen, April 17, 2026
Gades Legat hereby announces a call for funding for research in pathology, microbiology and immunology.
Applicants must be academically affiliated with a research group at the University of Bergen (UiB) or Haukeland University Hospital within one of the aforementioned fields.
The application should be brief and contain:
- Name of applicant and associated place of work
- Project title and a brief description of the project for which support is sought
- Budget
The application should not exceed two pages in total..
In recent years, the foundation has awarded funds in the range of NOK 20,000–100,000. Larger grants may be considered. Support for travel that does not involve dissemination or presentation of one's own research will, as a general rule, not be prioritized.
