To help ensure a safe and healthy working and learning environment, it is important that everyone reports unwanted incidents and conditions. This applies to both staff and students. By reporting HSE non-conformities, you help ensure that potential hazards are identified and addressed systematically.
An HSE non-conformity is an undesirable incident or condition that has caused, or could potentially cause, harm to people, the environment, or property.
You can report an HSE non-conformity through UiB Help here: Report an HSE Non-Conformity Here!
In the event of personal injuries involving a risk of infection and other serious personal injuries , you must immediately notify your local line manager or your faculty's information centre so that urgent measures can be taken. The standard reporting procedure should then be followed.
