Meltzer’s University Foundation invites nominations for the Meltzer Awards 2026. Professors and Heads of Department at the University of Bergen (UiB) may nominate candidates in the areas of research, research communication, and young research talent. The nomination deadline is 1 December 2026, and the awards will be presented on 11 March 2027.
K2 encourages all academic communities to consider potential candidates and take advantage of this opportunity to recognize outstanding achievements in research and research communication.
Three Award Categories
The Meltzer Awards are presented in the following categories. Nominations must be submitted through the electronic nomination form corresponding to the relevant award category.
- Meltzer Award for Outstanding Research
- Meltzer Award for Outstanding Research Communication
- Meltzer Award for Young Researchers
The research communities at K2 are encouraged to identify and nominate strong candidates for the various awards.
