Do you want to learn more about clinical studies – from design to execution? The course CCBIONEUR911: Clinical Trials will take place January 14–16, 2026, in Auditorium B301 at Haukeland University Hospital. The course offers a comprehensive introduction to clinical trials as part of clinical practice, covering topics such as:
- What is a clinical study?
- What is a clinical study?
- Perspectives from the pharmaceutical industry and the patient
- Ethics and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), including updates from GCP R2 to R3
- Practical trial management, formalities, and regulations
- Writing protocols and translational research
- Applications, funding, and contracts
- The future of clinical studies
The course qualifies for a GCP-R3 certificate and provides 2 ECTS credits for UiB students. It is open to all and free of charge. Teaching language: English.
