MIT–Norway: University of Bergen Seed Fund is part of the MIT Global Seed Funds and supports research collaboration between MIT and researchers at the University of Bergen, especially within the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Humanities.
Research projects must be linked to an identified researcher or research group at UiB, and all disciplines at the two faculties are eligible to apply. Collaborations involving early or mid-career researchers are particularly encouraged.
Maximum support amount: 30 000 USD

Priority is given to projects that:
- Are new or in a new phase
- Involves students, including PhD candidates
- Has potential for further collaboration or joint applications
- Shows complementarity and balanced exchange between UiB and MIT
- Involves interdisciplinary collaboration and/or digital humanities (especially relevant for HF)
