Vi er glade for å ønske Håvard Haarstad, professor i menneskelig geografi, velkommen til det andre webinaret i Climate Health Initiative.
Hans hovedforskningsfokus er sosial endring mot bærekraft, spesielt i forhold til klima. Haarstad er interessert i hvordan vi kan transformere byer og byliv – materielt, sosialt og kulturelt – for å møte klima- og bærekraftsutfordringene vi står overfor.
Han er også grunnlegger og direktør for Senter for klima og energiomstilling, et tverrfaglig forskningssenter basert ved Det samfunnsvitenskapelige fakultet, Universitetet i Bergen.

We are happy to welcome Håvard Haarstad, professor of human geography to the 2nd webinar in the Climate Health Initiative.
His main research focus is social change towards sustainability, particularly in relation to climate. Haarstad is interested in how we can transform cities and urban life – materially, socially and culturally – in order to meet the climate and sustainability challenges that face us.
He is also founding director for the Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation, an interdisciplinary research centre based at the Faculty of Social Science, University of Bergen.
