April 9–30, 2026 – Bergen
The Grieg Academy is in full swing this spring! After Easter, the students will present a wide range of exam repertoire and projects, spread over 12 concerts. The audience will experience Japanese shamisen, the premiere of a new work, chamber music, jazz and student compositions.
Unless otherwise stated, the concerts take place in Gunnar Sævigs sal, Nina Griegs gate 6. All concerts are open to the public.

Friday, April 24 at 7:00 PM Clarinet class concert The clarinet students perform with accompaniment by Tor Erik Seime Pettersen and Knut Christian Jansson. Participation from the Grieg Academy's Young Talents.
Saturday, April 25 at 5:00 PM Eilert Tøsse: Mow Edges Premiere of Frode Skag Storheim's commissioned work, based on the same mow material as Grieg's opus 72.
Tuesday, April 28 at 8:00 PM – Nykirken Graduation Concert – Conducting Students The students in band conducting conduct the Dragefjellet Music Corps in music by, among others, Wagner, Metheny and Groven.
Tirsdag 28. april kl. 20.00 Fiolinklassekonsert Fiolinstudentene framfører variert repertoar med pianoakkompagnement.
Thursday, April 30 at 6:00 PM Classical piano concert Piano students Sølve Andre Håvik, Balder Holmedal and Theodor Odland play works by Debussy, Hindemith, Scriabin and Schumann.
Thursday, April 30 at 7:30 PM – Studio A Composer Class Concert Student works for instruments and electronics by Mikael Maliks, Tord Kalvenes, Thorbergur Bollason, Theodor Bugge Jonssen and Simao Da Silva Nunes Alves.
