UiB is announcing funding for academic staff who wish to participate with contributions at the November Conference 2026 in Rio de Janeiro. The conference will be held in November and is an important meeting place for collaboration between business and academia in Brazil and Norway, with a particular focus on energy transition.
Researchers who participate with a prepared presentation on one or more program items can receive up to 15,000 NOK in travel support. Employees who will coordinate sessions will be given priority. Temporary employees must have at least 16 months left on their contract at the time of application. Costs beyond the support amount must be covered by their own unit or other funds.
The application should briefly describe why participation is desirable, how it can strengthen collaboration with Brazilian partners, and any contributions to planned sessions. Applications should be sent to rosa.nogueira@uib.no by April 7, 2026.
