Do you know of colleagues who deserve to be nominated for the King Olav V Cancer Research Prize? Now you can nominate them!
The Cancer Research Prize is worth one million Norwegian kroner, and has been awarded since 1991. It is presented by H.M. King Harald in a ceremonial ceremony each year.
Criteria:
- To what extent cancer patients have benefited or will benefit from the research that has been conducted
- Whether the candidate is still active – and is expected to be active in the years ahead – in their environment with publishing and disseminating research results to the general public
- Whether the researcher/research group has achieved international recognition for their research
- Whether the candidate has over time contributed to building and strengthening Norwegian research communities through their scientific involvement
