The CCBIO Research School invites you to a special edition of the course CCBIO903: Cancer Research – Ethical and Societal Aspects this spring. The course starts on March 23, and registration is still open.
We want to share both big and small things from everyday life at K2 – everything from academic highlights, exciting projects and new publications to events, milestones and pleasant glimpses from the working environment. Such contributions make the newsletter more lively and relevant for the entire department.

The deadline for nominations for the Falchs Junior and Senior Prize 2026 is March 5, and the Faculty of Medicine encourages submissions. The prizes honor young researchers and research leaders who have distinguished themselves with significant scientific contributions.

The TNNN Conference 2026 is now open for registration, with a deadline of March 6th, and the opportunity to submit abstracts for both oral presentations and posters. PhD candidates can have both the conference fee and hotel accommodation covered if they register by the deadline.
Ausitn is mapping research themes across the faculty based on PhD project titles and exploring the innovation potential within these projects, with the aim of identifying 5–6 candidates and their supervisor teams for further follow up.

On Wednesday, February 18, the Mohn Center for Neuroprotection was officially opened in the university auditorium. The center will conduct groundbreaking research into brain diseases such as Parkinson's and dementia.
