She has been awarded this award for her outstanding work on translational PDX models as a platform to advance ovarian cancer treatment. Her research focuses on developing advanced patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models with a functional human immune system to better understand ovarian cancer and improve treatment options through novel immunotherapies and image-guided surgery.
