You can now submit an application for the desired period at the welfare cabins for winter 2026, in the period January 4 to April 9: Velferdshytter.
Winter and Easter holidays have their own application forms. Winners of the winter and Easter holidays in 2023–2025 are encouraged not to apply for 2026, as there is a three-year quarantine for these periods. Any applicants who fall under the quarantine will be manually removed.

The cancellation deadline for an assigned cabin is 30 days before the start of the rental period. If you cancel after this time, you must pay a cancellation fee.
All applications must be registered in UiB's electronic housing system (https://reg.app.uib.no/hytter) when logging in with your UiB username and password. First-time applicants must enter some additional information.

- Winter/Easter break: November 5, 2025
- Winter 2026: November 6, 2025
