Gottfried Greve is now joining as the new project manager for Vestlandslegen. He is a professor of pediatrics at
Clinical Institute 2, senior consultant at Haukeland University Hospital and has just completed his four-year
period as vice-rector for innovation, initiatives and clusters at UiB. With his experience and broad

regional partners. He will help ensure progress in the project in line with guidelines that
provided by the Steering Group.
At the same time, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the outgoing project manager, Professor
Simon Dankel, who has made significant and important contributions to the project so far – particularly in relation to
to the work of establishing good academic collaborative relationships between the campuses. Good collaboration
is crucial for our joint success with the Vestlandslegen project.
