CLIMATE HEALTH INITIATIVE WEBINAR #5

Pandemic Centre continues the Climate Health Initiative with an insightful webinar featuring senior researcher dr. Shilpa Rao, FHI

Topic of this webinar is Climate Change Adaptation and Health Equity.

Dr. Rao will focus on examples from her recent research. Shilpa Rao has over 20 years of experience in modeling and risk assessment related to air pollution, climate change and health. Her specific interests are in looking at socio-economic factors in understanding risks and understanding the development of future scenarios. Please register for the seminar beforehand.

Invitation to Mobilization Seminar and Café Dialogue on March 24th! New Announcement!

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE RESEARCH COUNCIL – ON SUSTAINABLE HEALTH AND CARE SERVICES WITH APPLICATION DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 24, 2025!

We are repeating the success from 2024 and invite you to a mobilization seminar and café dialogue on March 24th at Alrek Health Cluster (Midgard) from 14:00 to 16:00. There will be opportunities for mingling, meeting researchers, and highlighting knowledge needs or reusing applications submitted in 2024. Municipalities will have their own café table (see registration). Light refreshments will be served. The event is free. Registration can be found here:

Launch of the Study Barometer 2024

HK-dir, NOKUT, and the University of Bergen invite you to the launch of the results from the Study Barometer. The launch event will take place on February 10 from 13:00 to 14:30 in the Great Hall at Nygårdsgaten 5, and it will also be streamed.

Around 30,000 students from all the country’s colleges and universities have answered questions about how they perceive various aspects of the quality of their study program. During the event, the results of the survey will be presented and discussed.

New Call for Proposals in the INTPART Program

We have launched a new call for proposals in the “International Partnerships for Excellent Education, Research and Innovation” (INTPART) program.

The call aims to link higher education, research, and innovation in priority countries outside the EU and EEA: Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, China, South Africa, South Korea, and the USA.

An applicant webinar will be held on March 24 at 10:00 AM. More information about this will be provided.

The application deadline is April 30.
