As temperatures reach record highs, attention and awareness of the health consequences of climate change are increasing. In the recently completed EU project EXHAUSTION (Exposure to heat and air pollution in Europe – cardiopulmonary impacts and benefits of mitigation and adaptation), CICERO has examined the relationship between ambient heat and health consequences across Europe, assessed current health burdens, and projected them under various climate scenarios. Aunan will share more about the project, findings, and future directions in the webinar.
