The Economics Department offers a training program in the area of economics at UiB with three-hour sessions in the UiB learning arena at Nygårdsgaten 5. We conduct this in spring and autumn. The courses are held in Norwegian.
The work environment is about how we organize, plan and carry out our work. A good work environment is characterized by good management, employee participation and clear organizational frameworks. Competence, good communication, mastery and recognition provide both security and well-being.
This 3 ECTS course will provide a broad understanding of aspects of cancer genome biology and their investigation by next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. Methods for analyzing DNA variation and structure and RNA expression patterns will be covered, as well as nuclear and chromatin structure. Also, ethical, legal aspects, and hereditary predisposition will be taught.
