The Faculty has established a funding scheme for courses offered during the elective period that require resources beyond those typically needed for regular teaching activities. Examples may include study trips, rental of specialized equipment, accommodation-related expenses, external instructors, or the purchase of admission tickets. These examples are not exhaustive.The funding scheme for elective courses has an annual budget of NOK 100,000. Applications may be submitted for up to NOK 2,000 per student per course. The application must include a realistic overall budget, and the Faculty’s contribution may cover a maximum of 60% of the total budget. The remaining costs must be covered by the department.
The application deadline for courses taking place in January 2027 is 1 September 2026. Applications must be submitted by the department. All applications will be reviewed and processed by the faculty.
