UiB Rector Margareth Hagen looks back on the anniversary year 2025 in the Rector's blog.
UiB is an attractive place to study. This year's admissions also confirm this, and our position is strengthened by our wide range of academic environments that provide capacity and ability for continuous renewal of the study programs. Over 10,500 applicants had UiB as their first choice in 2025. Professional studies such as law, psychology and medicine are still the most popular, while technology and science are growing rapidly.
