This year's application round for foundations at UiB is underway.
There are a number of foundations that have research and teaching at UiB as their statutory purposes.
Each year, the foundations announce funding that both employees and students can apply for. The largest of these foundations is the L. Meltzer University Foundation, and there are also about 25 other foundations (including Bergen University Foundation) from which funding can be applied.

The application deadline for most foundations is December 1, 2025.
