The North Sea University Partnership (NSUP) is now announcing seed funding to support research collaboration between the Norwegian and British partner universities.
This first call will prioritize applications that address themes related to the North Sea, with a focus on energy, green transition, marine/maritime, as well as security and resilience/preparedness.
Projects must involve at least one Norwegian and one British NSUP partner. Up to £25,000 can be applied for for projects with a duration of 12-24 months. Applications must specify the distribution of costs per project participant, who will then receive support from their home institution. Application deadline: 20 May 2026 at 12:00 (GMT) / 1:00 (CEST)
