World Mental Health Day!

UiB is marking World Mental Health Day today!

This year’s campaign encourages us to give 8 minutes because we need to talk more. Research shows that just 8 minutes on the phone with someone you care about can have a significant positive effect on both the relationship and mental health.

World Mental Health Day was established as a UN day over 30 years ago. In Norway, it is marked nationally during weeks 39-42, with participation from over 3300 municipalities, schools, workplaces, organizations, and individuals.

Today, Ingri Skulstad Lunde, Lise Skålvik Amble, and Hermina Gjertsen have been at a stand from 12:00 to 13:00 as part of the World Mental Health Day celebration.
