The Diabetes Association awarded “The Diabetes Association’s Research Prize” for the first time, a prize for outstanding diabetes research. Pål received the prize for his research in genetic diabetes variations nationally and internationally. The award took place at the University’s aula in Oslo on the World Diabetes Day. The new research prize from the Diabetes Association has been created to honor, inspire and motivate more diabetes research in Norway.
