Rune Nilsen ble kåret til en av Europas Open Access Champions i 2016. Han mener at Open Access er et viktig middel i kampen mot akademisk apartheid.
Nasjonale retningslinjer: Åpen tilgang til forskning – et krav for finansiering? Oddrun Samdal, medlem av arbeidsgruppen, Viserektor for utdanning, Universitetet i Bergen.
Regjeringen krever at norsk forskning skal være åpent tilgjengelig. Arbeidsgruppen foreslår i blant annet insentiver og krav knyttet til finansiering for å oppnå dette.

[:en]Knowledge: a public global good – a journey through Open Access over 30 years Rune Nilsen, Professor Emeritus of Global Health, University of Bergen.
Rune Nilsen was named one of Europe’s Open Access Champions in 2016. He believes that Open Access is an important means in the fight against academic apartheid.
National guidelines: Open access to research – a requirement for funding? Oddrun Samdal, member of the Working Group, Vice-Rector for Education, University of Bergen.
The government requires that Norwegian research should be openly available. The working group proposes including incentives and requirements related to funding to achieve this.

Program: Internasjonalisering skal bidra til å heve kvaliteten i norsk utdanning og til å fremme interkulturell kompetanse. Men hva skal til for å fremme kvalitet, og hva menes egentlig med interkulturell kompetanse?

Målgruppe: Alle som jobber med internasjonalisering av høyere utdanning i Norge, fra institusjonenes ledelse på alle nivåer, forskere og administrativt ansatte, til myndigheter, organisasjoner og andre aktører på området
Hvor og når: Internasjonaliseringskonferansen 2017 blir arrangert i Oslo 15.-16.mars. SIU er arrangør, i samarbeid med utdanningssektoren i Norge forøvrig. HiOA er vertskap for konferasnen i samarbeid med NMBU.
