Regionalt forskningsfond Vestlandet lyser i 2014 ut til sammen 42 millioner kroner i støtte til FoU prosjekt.

Forskningsgruppene ved K2 inviteres til å søke om smådriftsmidler. Det er satt av 760.000,- til formålet. Kriterier for å søke er at det må dokumenteres at gruppen har søkt om andre eksterne midler, og at formålet det søkes om er drøftet og prioritert innad i hele forskningsgruppen. Maksbeløpet en kan få tildelt er 100.000,- og søknadsfristen er satt til 1. mars. Det er forskningsutvalget ved K2 som tildeler midlene på neste møte. Det er bare kolonne B, C, D og J som skal fylles ut i søknadskjema, som sendes til Siv Johnsen EggereideThe research groups at K2 is invited to apply for «smådriftsmidler». There are 760.000,- for this purpose. The application criteria is that it has to be documented that the group has applied for other external funding, and that the purpose of the application has been discussed and prioritised in the entire research group. The maximum amount given is 100.000,- and the deadline is March 1st. The research committee at K2 will grant the funding at the next meeting. Only column B, C, D and J need to be filled in the application form, which must be sent to Siv Johnsen Eggereide
