Språkprisen – BokmålLanguage Award – Bokmål
Hvert år deler Språkrådet ut en pris for fremragende bruk av norsk i sakprosa. Prisen deles ut annethvert år for bokmål og nynorsk. I år står bokmål for tur.
Prisene tildeles for enkeltverk eller produksjoner fra de siste fem årene og kan gå til personer eller grupper (institusjoner, bedrifter, organisasjoner). Kandidater til prisene kan komme fra næringsliv, forskning, undervisning (læremiddel), forvaltning, presse, teknologi, kulturliv (f.eks. blogger) osv.
Alle kan nominere kandidater til Språkprisen. Send forslaget ditt, som gjerne kan være grunngitt, til Eilov Runnesto innen 20. juni.
Every year the Norwegian Language Council give an award for outstanding use of Norwegian in nonfiction. The award is given alternate years for bokmål and nynorsk. This year it is bokmål.
The awards are given for individual works or productions from the last five years and may go to persons or groups (institutions, businesses, organisations). Candidates may be from industry, research, education (educational resources), management, the press, technology, culture (e.g. blogger) and so on.
Everyone can nominate candidates for the Language Award (in Norwegian). Send your suggestions, with out without reasons, to Eilov Runnesto by June 20.

NFR søknad – budsjetteringNFR application – budgeting
Som kjent har K2 hatt en intern prosess med støtte til utvalgte NFR søknader i vår. Det utelukker ikke at andre kan søke NFR. Men i år skal all budsjettering av NFR søknader følge den såkalte TDI modellen. TDI står for Totale Direkte og Indirekte kostnader (totalkostnadsmodellen) og baserer seg på regjeringens mål om at alle direkte og indirekte kostnader ved et forskningsprosjekt skal synliggjøres. Universitetet- og høyskolerådet (UHR) har arbeidet med utviklingen av en nasjonal modell for synliggjøring av totale kostander generelt i forskningsprosjekter. Bidragsytere i prosessen har vært både NTNU, UiB, UiO, SINTEF og NFR.
Ved MOF har det vært jobbet med implementering av denne TDI modellen og hvilke konkrete utslag det får når man setter opp budsjettene. Målet er at man skal ha felles beregningsmåter og felles satser på de ulike instituttene. Man er ikke kommet helt i mål før NFR søknadene sendes i denne runden, men det forhold at alle søknader skal budsjetteres etter TDI modellen, står ved lag.
Det innebærer at alle som skal sende NFR søknader i mai må få sitt budsjett godkjent av økonomiseksjonen ved K2. Økonomiskesjonen vil være behjelpelig med å sette opp budsjettene etter TDI modellen. Internfristen på K2 for å få kvalitetssikret at budsjettet er i henhold til TDI modellen er 14. mai. De som kommer til økonomiseksjonen med budsjetter på NFR søknader etter denne dato, vil ikke få anledning til å sende inn søknader via K2.

PerK2 has had an internal process with support for selected NFR application this spring. This does not mean that others cannot apply NFR. But this year all budgeting of NFR application must follow the so-called TDI model. TDI stands for Total, Direct and Indirect costs (the total cost model) and is based on the government’s goal to make all direct and indirect costs of a research project visible. The Norwegian Association of Higher Education Institutions (UHR) has worked on the development of a national model for generally making total costs in research projects more visible. Among the contributors to this process are NTNU, UoB, UiO, SINTEF and NFR.
At MOF work has been done to implement this TDI model and which concrete effects it will have when the budgets are created. The goal is to get a common method of calculation and common rates at the different institutes. The objective will not be reached before the NFR applications are sent in, but the rule that all applications will be budgeted according to the TDI model will stand.
This means that all who will send in NFR applications in May must get their budget approved by the economy section at K2. The economy section will assist in making the budgets according to the TDI model. The internal deadline at K2 to get the budget quality assured according to the TDI model is May 14th. Those who come to the economy section with budget for NFR applications after this date will not be able to send the applications via K2.
