Bergens medisinske forskningsstiftelse har bevilget kr 5 millioner hver til 2 prosjekter på utlysningen «Forskning med utgangspunkt i registre, biobanker og større, kompleks forskningsinfrastruktu». Det ene prosjektet som mottok støtte var:
