Did you know … ?
…that American partners can receive funding under the “Personalizing Health and Care” Work programme ?
This Health program differs from other programs in H2020 in that it is possible to finance American partners in the projects by the Union, however, American partners will possibly have to be in addition to the three partners minimally required for a project. American partners can get financing because the US National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) has opened for European researchers. Any legal entity established in the United States of America is eligible to receive Union funding to support its participation in projects supported under all topics in calls under ‘Health, demographic change and well-being’.
…that SMEs and other companies can get funded with 100% under a Research and Innovation Action (RIA)?
All enterprises regardless of size can apply, i.e. all legal entities (from eligible countries) can be partners in an application unless specifically excluded. Note that for SMEs special measures apply, such as 20% of the total budget of ‘Leadership in enabling and industrial technologies’ (LEITs) and the ‘Societal Challenges’ has to go to SMEs. Within a RIA, all partners get the same reimbursement rate of 100% (one project = one rate).
