[:no]Den svenske Barndiabetesfonden deler årlig ut Johnny Ludvigsson-priser – det ene for framstående barnediabetesforskning i Norden, og det andra til yngre barnediabetesforskere i Sverige.
Barndiabetesfondens Johnny Ludvigsson-pris for Framstående Barndiabetesforskning i Norden tildeles i år den norske forskeren Pål Njølstad, professor ved Universitetet i Bergen og Haukeland Universitetssykehus. K2 gratulerer!
I begrunnelsen fra Barndiabetesfondens priskomite nevnes blant annet professor Njølstads gjennombrudd innen klinisk praksis for barn med en mutasjon i KCNJ11, og hans store internasjonale innflytelse på utviklingen innen persontilpasset behandling av uvanlige former for diabetes.
