I forbindelse med at universitets- og høyskolesektoren bytter teleoperatør fra Telenor til Telia må alle ansatte med mobil-abonnementer betalt av UiB, bytte SIM-kort i mobiltelefonen.
Nye SIM-kort er sendt ut til alle avdelingene og vil bli viderefordelt til den enkelte.
Telia vil sende deg en egen SMS med tidspunktet for overføring (portering) av ditt abonnement. Denne sendes ca. en uke i forkant. Du må ikke ta i bruk Telia SIM-kortet før oppgitt tidspunkt.
Merk at:
- Ditt Telenor-abonnement vil slutte å virke fra porteringstidspunktet.
- Siden UiB ikke lenger har en avtale med Telenor kan vi heller ikke gjøre unntak fra porteringen.
- Telia-dekning innendørs på UiBs bygninger vil komme i tide til porteringen.
For å gi hjelp med bytte av SIM-kort til de som måtte trenge det, vil IT-avdelingen og Telia være tilgjengelig på følgende lokasjoner:

When the Norwegian higher education sector changes mobile telephone operator from Telenor to Telia, all employees with mobile subscriptions paid by UiB have to change SIM card in their mobile phone.
New SIM cards are being sent to all departments and will be distributed to the individual users.
Telia will send you an SMS with the time for transfer of your subscription.
You will receive this about a week in advance. You must not use the Telia SIM card before the assigned time.
Please note:
- Your Telenor subscription will stop working from the time of transfer.
- As UiB no longer has any contract with Telenor, we are not able to make exceptions from the transfer.
- Telia coverage of indoors areas at UiB’s campus will be complete at time of transfer.
