Medisinsk-odontologisk fakultet har i samarbeid med Haukeland Universitetssjukehus ansatt egen pedagog for \u00e5 styrke nettopp medisinsk undervisningskompetanse. Hvordan dette kan hjelpe oss i v\u00e5r undervisning vil du f\u00e5 vite p\u00e5 Undervisningsdagen 2016 den 12. Oktober.<\/p>\n<p>Vi vil holde Undervisningsdagen felles med K1, og denne gangen som en hel dag , ikke to halve dager som i fjor. Med Ny studieplan i gang vil vi n\u00e5 f\u00e5 demonstrasjon av hvordan Team-Basert L\u00e6ring er tatt i bruk. Til inspirasjon for hvordan vi alle kan gj\u00f8re dette (faktisk uten \u00e5 m\u00e5tte bygge om undervisningsrom).<\/p>\n<p>Digital forelesning; \u00e5 lage filmer der foreleser viser b\u00e5de lyd og bilde er noe vi har mulighet for \u00e5 benytte. Dette kan v\u00e6re b\u00e5de mindre enheter som studentene ser som forberedelse f\u00f8r \u201dselve\u201d forelesningen eller man kan legge ut en hel tradisjonell forelesning. Programmet som benyttes heter TechSmith Relay (mer informasjon finnes p\u00e5 <a href=\"http:\/\/relay.uninett.no\" target=\"_blank\">relay.uninett.no<\/a>). P\u00e5 undervisningsdagen vil vi vise eksempler og praktiske tips om bruk.<\/p>\n<p>MOF UiB har inng\u00e5tt avtale med NTNU og UiT om \u00e5 styrke eksamensarbeid ved \u00e5 lage en stor felles database for Flervalgsoppgaver (MCQ). Da vil vi sikre at eksamen blir lik p\u00e5 tvers av universitetene og vi f\u00e5r tilgang til andres oppgaver. MCQ kan godt benyttes med kasuistikk som innledning og deretter ulike sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l knyttet mot diagnostikk og behandling. Men for \u00e5 lage GODE flervalgsoppgaver vil vi nytte erfaring fra dem som har gjort dette strukturert over flere \u00e5r. M\u00e5let er at alle undervisere skal kunne lage oppgaver fra sine emner. Da vil arbeidet med \u00e5 sette sammen den enkelte eksamen bli mindre arbeidskrevende og retting vil bli automatisert og mindre subjektiv.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 husk \u00e5 sette av datoen 12. oktober! Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry has , in collaboration with Haukeland University Hospital, employed an\u00a0educationalist to strengthen the medical teaching competence. How this can help us in our teaching, you will get to know at the Teaching Day 2016 on 12 October.<\/p>\n<p>We will arrange the Teaching Day together with K1, and this time as a full day seminar rather than two half days, like we did last year.\u00a0The new curriculum Medisin 2015 has now been in effect for one year. During the meeting we will have an actual demonstration of Team Based Learning as performed during autumn term. This as an inspiration of how we may incorporate this technique in our teaching (even without having to refurnish the auditoriums).<\/p>\n<p>Digital presentation; making a presentation where you as a teacher may show pre-recorded combined pictures and sound is now a valid option. This may be short presentations for the students to go through before a \u201dregular\u201d lecture in the auditorium or as a full recorded plenary lecture as an alternative for individual students to physical attend. The program used for this purpose is named TechSmith Relay (additional information available at <a href=\"http:\/\/relay.uninett.no\" target=\"_blank\">relay.uninett.no<\/a>). During the Teaching Day we will show examples and practical tips on how to use this system.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Bergen\u00a0has entered a collaboration with NTNU and UiT with the aim of strengthening the examination process by developing a huge common database of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) for the Medical Curriculum. This to ensure examination uniformity throughout the different Faculties in Norway and give UiB the possibility to use MCQs developed in the other faculties. MCQ may well be used with a short clinical introduction (case description) followed by different questions regarding diagnose and treatment as well as basic knowledge (anatomy and physiology). To be able to develop GOOD MCQs we will build upon the experience from those in NTNU that have used this very structured during several years. We aim for all teachers being able to develop MCQs from their specific fields of expertise. This will ease the work of putting together an individual exam and the marking process will be automatic and less subjective!<\/p>\n<p>Remember to set aside the 12th of October in your appointment schedule.
