Resultatet ble likevel et regnskap i balanse, noe som var viktig for \u00e5 synliggj\u00f8re god \u00f8konomistyring p\u00e5 K2. Vi har ikke \u00f8kt gjelden i 2014, men vi drar med oss et underskudd fra 2013 p\u00e5 3.2 mill. Vi m\u00e5 i v\u00e5re budsjettplaner synliggj\u00f8re hvordan vi skal redusere underskuddet.<\/p>\n<p>Budsjettet for 2015 m\u00e5 g\u00e5 i balanse, og har en del utfordringer som ikke var like tydelige for 2014. H\u00f8stens lokale oppgj\u00f8r med l\u00f8nns\u00f8kning p\u00e5 5 % gav \u00f8kte l\u00f8nnskostnadene til K2 med 2.6 mill per \u00e5r.. Vi f\u00e5r en l\u00f8nns- og priskompensasjon p\u00e5 3 %, men et rammekutt p\u00e5 1.6 % bringer kompensasjonen ned til 1,4 %. For \u00e5 f\u00e5 budsjettet i balanse, m\u00e5 vi videref\u00f8re ordningen med teknikerbetaling p\u00e5 50. 000,- per \u00e5rsverk. Vi f\u00e5r tildelt til sammen 4 mill til driftsmidler for phd og pos doc. Av de 4. mill, g\u00e5r 2.8 mill med til gjennomf\u00f8ring av 25 planlagte disputaser i 2015 , om lag 500.000 m\u00e5 brukes til \u00e5 dekke underskudd. Da gjenst\u00e5r 650.000 til driftsmidler som tilf\u00f8res til stipendiater og post doc. For \u00e5 b\u00f8te p\u00e5 dette vil vi for 2015 \u00f8remerke sm\u00e5driftsmidlene p\u00e5 760.000 til denne gruppen. Stipendiater og postdocs fra \u00abfattige\u00bb forskningsgrupper vil bli prioritert (utlysning kommer i februar). N\u00e5r det gjelder ekstern finansiering, er det sv\u00e6rt gledelig \u00e5 registrere at det har v\u00e6rt en \u00f8kning i BOA (bidrag og oppdragsvirksomhet) p\u00e5 46 % siden etablering av k2 i 2013.<\/p>\n<p>K2 har s\u00e5ledes mange \u00abrike\u00bb grupper, men instituttet selv har sv\u00e6rt lite handlingsrom og driftsmidler \u00e5 fordele. However, we still managed to close the budget in balance, which was important in order to visualize the good financial management of K2. We have not increased our debts in 2014, but we still have to tackle our old debt of 3.2 million from 2013. Thus, we must outline how we intend to reduce the deficit in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 budget must be in balance despite the extra \u201cburden\u201d of a very good result of the local salary negotiations for K2 employees. The negotiations ended with a 5 % salary increase which increased the annual salary costs at K2 with 2.6 million per year. We will obtain a 3 % salary- and price compensation, but an overall 1.6 % cut by UiB\u2019s central administration brings the overall compensation down to 1,4%. Thus, in order to achieve a balanced budget we have to continue with technician payment of 50\u00a0000 per year per technician. We will receive a total of 4 million in operating funds for PhD and Postdocs. Of these, 2.8 million will be spent on the 25 public defenses planned for 2015, and approximately 500.000 will be used to cover the deficits. The remaining 650.000 will be earmarked PhD-Candidates and Postdocs. To compensate, the annual Small Operating Funds of 760.000 will be allocated to PhD-Candidates and Postdocs; candidates from \u201cpoor\u201d research groups will have priority (announcement will come in February). As for external funding, it is great to register that there has been a 46 % increase in BOA-funding since the establishment of K2 in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>K2 thus has many \u201crich\u201d groups, but the department itself has very little room to maneuver.
