V\u00e5re nyutdannete leger autoriseres ved gjennomf\u00f8rt profesjonsstudium med best\u00e5tt eksamen. B\u00e5de myndigheter, arbeidsgivere og pasienter har forventninger til hvilke prosedyrer en hvilken som helst ny-utdannet lege behersker. Dette setter nye krav til ferdighetstrening som del av undervisningen. Harmoniserte krav til hvilke ferdigheter som skal inng\u00e5 i profesjonsutdanningen medisin er under utarbeiding. Bygging av nytt ferdighetssenter p\u00e5 MOF har h\u00f8y prioritet i dekanatet. K2 har fagansvar for ferdighetssenteret. For \u00e5 fremme undervisningsarbeidet ved ferdighetssenteret, og gi bedre oppf\u00f8lgning av studentl\u00e6rerne som arbeider ved ferdighetssenteret, har K2 sammen med K1 oppnevnt en faggruppe for ferdighetssenteret. Faggruppen ledes av professor Sverre Lehmann. Med seg har han erfarne undervisere b\u00e5de fra K2 og K1. Jeg er overbevist om at denne faggruppen vil bidra til \u00f8kt fokus og bredde p\u00e5 ferdighetstreningen. Samtidig er det viktig \u00e5 understreke at ikke all ferdighetstrening b\u00f8r, kan eller skal gjennomf\u00f8res p\u00e5 ferdighetssenteret, men m\u00e5 foreg\u00e5 integrert i v\u00e5r egen undervisning p\u00e5 sengepost, laboratorium eller poliklinikk. Ikke minst praksisperiodene ved de samarbeidende sykehus er her sv\u00e6rt viktige arenaer for \u00e5 dokumentere at n\u00f8kkelferdigheter beherskes.<\/p>\n<p>Eva<!--:--><!--:en--><a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/10\/Eva-Gerdts.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-136 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/10\/Eva-Gerdts.jpg\" alt=\"Eva Gerdts\" width=\"82\" height=\"110\" \/><\/a>After the termination of the medical student internships, a natural arena for skill training has disappeared. Our newly trained doctors are authorized upon completing the professional curriculum and passing the exams. The government, employers and patients all have expectations regarding what procedures a newly trained doctor should be able to perform. This places new demands on the skill training incorporated in the teaching of medical students. Harmonized demands regarding what skills should be incorporated in the professional medical school is currently being worked out. The construction of a new skill center at MOF has high priority at the Dean\u2019s Office. K2 has the academic responsibility for the skill center. In order to promote the teaching activities being done at the skill center, as well as provide better follow-up of student teachers employed at the skill center, K2 has, together with K1, appointed an academic supervisor group for the skill center. The group is led by Professor Sverre Lehmann. He is joined by experienced teachers from both K2 and K1. I am convinced that this academic supervisor group will contribute to an increased focus on skill training. At the same time it is important to emphasize that not all skill training should, could, or will be performed at the skill center, but a lot must also be integrated in our own teaching at bed post, laboratory or outpatient clinic.
