Hva er Horisont 2020, hvem kan s\u00f8ke og hva er st\u00f8ttet?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Horisont 2020 forener flere ulike programer og mekanismer. Enkelte forskere eller forskergrupper fra akademia, n\u00e6ringsliv og andre stakeholder-organisasjoner kan s\u00f8ke om st\u00f8tte innen 3 kategorier (pillars): Fremragende forskning, Konkurransedyktig n\u00e6ringsliv og Store samfunnsutfordringer. Hvilken kategori og hvilket underprogram \u00e9n velger er avhengig av prosjektets forskningsfokus og st\u00f8rrelsesorden, om det er anvendt- eller grunnforskning, eller om noen har lyst til \u00e5 flytte til et annet land. Den vanligste prosjekttypen er et samarbeidsprosjekt (Collaborative Project, CP) mellom minst tre deltakere fra tre ulike EU medlemsland eller land som er assosiert med Horizon 2020 (som Norge). CPer st\u00f8tter forskingsaktiviteter men ogs\u00e5 personalkostnader, reiser, materiale, administrasjonskostnader og formidling. Koordinasjons- og st\u00f8tteaktiviteter (Co-ordination and Support Actions, CSAs) st\u00f8tter ikke forskning i seg selv, men for eksempel tiltak til koordinasjon av forskningspolitikk mellom medlemsland innen et visst felt, og noen ganger ogs\u00e5 studier, konferanser og andre nettverksaktiviteter. Direkte kostnader som oppst\u00e5r p\u00e5 et prosjekt blir 100% refundert. For noen prosjekttyper som f.eks. personlig stipend, blir st\u00f8tten utbetalt som fastbel\u00f8p.<\/p>\n

\"EU<\/a><\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

What is Horizon 2020, who can apply and what is funded?<\/b> <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Horizon 2020 contains a number of different funding programmes and mechanisms. Individual researchers or groups of researchers from academia, industry and other stakeholder organisations can apply for funding in 3 pillars: Excellent Science, Competitive Industries and Tackling Societal Challenges. The choice of pillar and underlying programme depends on the research theme and the size of the planned project, whether it is basic or applied or whether someone is interested in moving to another country. The most common project type is a Collaborative Project (CP), which usually requires a minimum of three participants from three different EU Member States or the countries that are associated to Horizon 2020 (like Norway). CPs fund research activities including personnel costs, travel, consumables, management costs and dissemination. Co-ordination and Support Actions (CSAs) do not fund research as such but fund, for example, the co-ordination of research policies across Member States in a particular field; occasionally also studies, conferences and other networking activities. Actual direct costs incurred for a project are 100% reimbursed. For some types of projects, such as individual fellowships, funding can be based on flat rates and granted as lump sums.<\/p>\n
