N\u00e5 er det p\u00e5 tide \u00e5 brette opp armene og fokusere p\u00e5 de viktige oppgavene, nemlig \u00e5 levere undervisning, forskning og formidling av topp kvalitet. Da m\u00e5 kanskje mindre saker og irritasjonsmomenter ligge. Hanna Kvanmo sa en gang \u00abprioriter n\u00f8ye hva du skal irritere deg over\u00bb – det er noe vi alle b\u00f8r legge oss p\u00e5 minnet.<\/p>\n

Undervisning ble bevisst nevnt f\u00f8rst; det er studentene som definerer oss som fakultet og universitetssykehus. Derfor m\u00e5 vi hele tiden arbeide aktivt for \u00e5 forbedre den. Viktigheten av undervisningsarbeidet understrekes av at innsats p\u00e5 dette omr\u00e5det er et av hovedargumentene i de lokale l\u00f8nnsforhandlingene \u2013 i \u00e5r med en historisk stor lokal l\u00f8nnspott.<\/p>\n

Undervisningsseminaret 17. september <\/strong>tar opp en rekke viktige saker du ikke kan g\u00e5 glipp av, blant annet ny studieplan, ferdighetseksamen og e-l\u00e6ring. I tillegg skal vi snakke om dannelse og dele ut undervisningsprisen. Seminaret er obligatorisk for de vitenskapelige ansatte og gir deg ogs\u00e5 en ypperlig anledning til \u00e5 bli bedre kjent med dine kollegaer.<\/p>\n

Med \u00f8nske om en pedagogisk h\u00f8st<\/p>\n

\nFungerende instituttleder\"Eystein<\/a>Hopefully everybody is back with their batteries fully charged after the summer holidays. Those of you who chose Western Norway as your destination have experienced the summer of the century, at least weather-wise. However, now is the time to roll up your sleeves and focus on the important tasks, namely to provide teaching, research and dissemination of superior quality, while hopefully leaving lesser issues and annoyances be. Hanna Kvanmo, a famous Norwegian politician once said \u00abprioritize carefully what you are going to be annoyed about\u00bb – it is something we should all keep in mind.<\/p>\n

Teaching was deliberately mentioned first; it is the students that define us as an academic institution and university hospital. Therefore, we must work constantly to improve its quality. The importance of teaching is emphasized by the fact that your effort in this area is one of the main arguments in the local wage negotiations – this year with a historically large local salary pot to distribute.<\/p>\n

The teaching seminar on September 17<\/strong>\u00a0will focus on many important topics that you should not miss, including the new curriculum for medical students, practical exam and e-learning. We will also discuss simple, but important things such as manners and behavior. Furthermore, the annual teaching award will be announced. The seminar is compulsory for academic staff and also provides an excellent opportunity to meet your colleagues.<\/p>\n
