Wiker, professor Lise \u00d8vre\u00e5s (prodekan mat nat) og overingeni\u00f8r Marianne Enger \u00e5\u00a0arbeide frem en rapport for \u00e5 se p\u00e5 prinsipper for fremtidig rekruttering av vitenskapelig personale. Sekret\u00e6r funksjonen ble ivaretatt av administrasjonssjef Synn\u00f8ve Myhre. Bakgrunnen var punktet i strategidokumentet til instituttet: <em>\u00abK2 skal innen ultimo 2014 utarbeide en langsiktig og strukturert plan for strategisk rekruttering og ansettelse av faste vitenskapelige I- og II-stillinger\u00bb. <\/em>En annen viktig faktor var at klinisk institutt 2 kommer i n\u00e6rmeste 5 \u00e5r (2014-2018) \u00e5 ha en naturlig avgang p\u00e5 minst 12.1 \u00e5rsverk (tatt i betraktning avgang ved 70 \u00e5r).<\/p>\n<p>Noen av arbeidsgruppens kommentarer\/konklusjoner er f\u00f8lgende:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Man \u00f8nsker at instituttet i st\u00f8rre grad enn tidligere skal vektlegge forskningsaktivitet og kvalitet framfor tradisjonell faglig tilknytning.<\/li>\n<li>Utlysninger innen et bredere fagfelt vil gj\u00f8re instituttets ansettelsespraksis mer fleksibel og muligens vil dette virke rekrutteringsfremmende i forhold til kvinner og eksterne s\u00f8kere.<\/li>\n<li>Komiteen \u00f8nsker at man har bredere utlysninger heller enn at man skal foreta sterkt begrensende interne prioriteringer f\u00f8r utlysning (dette burde ogs\u00e5 ivareta de sterke fagmilj\u00f8enes interesser ved at de m\u00e5 forventes \u00e5 kunne bygge opp sterke kandidater som er konkurransedyktige i slike bredere utlysninger).<\/li>\n<li>Men man m\u00e5 f\u00f8rst sikre at undervisningsbehovet innen et gitt fagfelt er dekket f\u00f8r man utlyser bredere.<\/li>\n<li>Komiteen mener at de skisserte retningslinjene b\u00f8r f\u00f8lges i en periode p\u00e5 4-5 \u00e5r og at det b\u00f8r gj\u00f8res en ny vurdering og en evaluering som er fullf\u00f8rt i l\u00f8pet av 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I tillegg m\u00e5 det sies at det ogs\u00e5 kommer til \u00e5\u00a0v\u00e6re viktig \u00e5 bidra s\u00e5 mye som mulig til erfarenhetsoverf\u00f8ring av kunnskap innen de profesjoner vi representerer, uten at dette forstyrrer nyorientering. Man kan ogs\u00e5 tenke seg ulike vektinger av oppgaver universitetet legger p\u00e5 oss ansatte \u2013 forskning, undervisning, formidling og innovasjon. Og det m\u00e5 stilles store krav til h\u00f8y kvalitet p\u00e5 fundamentet for v\u00e5r virksomhet, nemlig undervisning og forskningsproduksjon. Rapporten kan i sin helhet <a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2014\/06\/Rapport-Stillingsdisponering-endelig-10-06-14.docx\" target=\"_blank\">leses her<\/a> og den har i uken blitt diskutert blant forskningsgruppelederne, fagomr\u00e5delederne, forskningsutvalget og instituttr\u00e5det ved K2. Et godt verkt\u00f8y for fremtiden!<\/p>\n<p>God sommer fra forskningsledelsen ved\u00a0K2.<\/p>\n<p>Roland<!--:--><!--:en--><a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/11\/produktbilde_1__Jonsson0x2c_Roland.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-801 \" src=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/11\/produktbilde_1__Jonsson0x2c_Roland-210x300.jpg\" alt=\"Roland Jonsson\" width=\"118\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a>The Management of the institute has asked a working group consisting of Professor \u00d8ystein Bruserud (Chairman), Associate Professor J\u00f8rn Sagen, Professor Harald G. Wiker, Professor Lise \u00d8vre\u00e5s (vice-dean faculty of mathematics and natural sciences) and Chief Engineer Marianne Enger to prepare a report about the policies for future recruitment of scientific staff. Secretarial function was attended by head of administration, Synn\u00f8ve Myhre. The basis for this is stated in the institute\u2019s strategy document: &laquo;K2 will by the end of 2014 develop a long-term, structured plan for strategic recruitment and hiring of personnel in permanent faculty I and II positions.&raquo; Another important factor was that K2 in the next five years (2014-2018) will have a natural turnover of at least 12.1 FTEs (considering retirement at 70 years).<\/p>\n<p>Some of the working group comments \/ conclusions are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is preferable that the department to a greater extent than previously should emphasize research and quality rather than traditional academic affiliation.<\/li>\n<li>Calls of positions within a broader field will make the Department&#8217;s employment practices more flexible and may improve recruitment of women and external applicants.<\/li>\n<li>The committee would like to have broader calls rather than limiting internal priorities before the announcement (t<span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">his<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">should<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">also protect<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the strong<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">academic groups<\/span><span class=\"hps\">&#8216; interests<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in that they<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">can be expected<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">to<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">create stronger candidates<\/span><span class=\"hps\"> who can<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">compete better<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in such<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">broader<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">calls<\/span><\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>However, one must first ensure that the educational needs within a given subject is appropriate before broader calls are announced.<\/li>\n<li>The committee recommend that the outlined guidelines should be followed for a period of 4-5 years and that there should be a reassessment and an evaluation completed during 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, it\u2019s important that knowledge and expertise is transferred within the professions we represent without preventing recruitment. One can also suggest different distributions of the tasks which the University imposes the employees &#8211; research, teaching, communication and innovation. High standards for the basis of our function, i.e. teaching and research, is required.
