Dette arbeidet m\u00e5 planlegges hvert \u00e5r i samarbeid med veileder(e) og arbeidsgiver. Fakultetet og instituttenes forskerutdanningskonsulenter har n\u00e5 sett n\u00e6rmere p\u00e5 dette. Det viser seg \u00e5 v\u00e6re forskjeller i hvor stor arbeidsmengden er for stipendiater med hensyn til pliktarbeid. Per dags dato har K2 nesten 50 UiB-finansierte stipendiater, og med tanke p\u00e5 at hver av disse stipendiatene i teorien skal bruke et helt \u00e5r p\u00e5 pliktarbeid, er det alts\u00e5 snakk om bortimot 50 \u00e5rsverk som stilles til instituttets disposisjon. Vi b\u00f8r derfor f\u00e5 en god struktur p\u00e5 organiseringen av pliktarbeid slik at denne ressursen blir brukt mest optimalt.<\/p>\n<p>Eksempel p\u00e5 tiltak som diskuteres:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alle UiB-finansierte kandidater og deres veiledere m\u00e5 informere forskerutdanningskonsulent ved instituttet om planlagt pliktarbeid i forkant av hvert \u00e5r.<\/li>\n<li>Alle vitenskapelig ansatte kan i tillegg i forkant av hvert semester sende inn oppgaver som de \u00f8nsker stipendiater til, men hvor de enda ikke har f\u00e5tt tak i noen. Dette gjelder undervisningsoppgaver, kommunikasjonsarbeid, konferanse\/seminarorganisering, databasearbeid, veiledning av Masterstudenter, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Alle nye stipendiater som er UiB-finansiert vil, sammen med hovedveileder, bli kalt inn til et kort m\u00f8te om planlegging av pliktarbeid med forskerutdanningskonsulent og visestyrer for forskning s\u00e5 snart s\u00f8knaden om opptak er levert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Roland<!--:--><!--:en--><a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/11\/produktbilde_1__Jonsson0x2c_Roland.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-801 alignleft\" alt=\"Roland Jonsson\" src=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/11\/produktbilde_1__Jonsson0x2c_Roland-210x300.jpg\" width=\"101\" height=\"144\" \/><\/a>As is known, all PhD-candidates funded by the University have a four-year employment contract, where 25 % of the employment is allocated mandatory duty work. This work has to be planned each year in collaboration with supervisor(s) and employer. The faculty&#8217;s and the institutes&#8217; executive officers for research education have reviewed this practice. It turns out that the amount of work time spent on duty work differs a lot between the PhD-candidates.\u00a0 Currently, almost 50 PhD-candidates at K2 are UiB-funded, and when considering the fact that each of these PhD-candidates in theory should spend one whole year on duty work, we are talking about nearly 50 man-years available at the department&#8217;s disposal. Thus we should aim for a good structure in the organization of duty work so that this resource is utilized optimally.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of actions discussed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All UiB-funded candidates and their supervisors must inform executive officer for research education about planned duty work ahead of each year.<\/li>\n<li>All scientific employees may, in addition, ahead of each semester submit tasks they wish to recruit PhD-candidates for, but where they have not yet obtained any.\u00a0 This includes teaching tasks, communications work, conference\/seminar organization, database work, supervision of Master students, etc.<\/li>\n<li>All new UiB-funded PhD-candidates will, together with their principal supervisor, be called inn for a short meeting regarding planning of duty work with executive officer for research education and head of research as soon as application for admission to the PhD-programme has been submitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Roland<!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Som kjent har kandidater som er tilsatt i universitetsstipend et utdanningsl\u00f8p som er fire \u00e5r, hvor 25% av utdanningsperioden er avsatt til \u00e5 utf\u00f8re pliktarbeid.
