Tonen var at det var en stor underdekning. S\u00e5 sent som i november i fjor presenterte jeg en prognose som tilsa at vi i 2017 ville akkumulere en minus p\u00e5 kr 18 millioner og det til tross for at alle ledige stillinger ved naturlig avgang ville vi bli avviklet. Etter m\u00f8ter med dekanatet fikk vi permanent kompensert en del l\u00f8nnsutgifter.<\/p>\n<p>Dette samt at vi har sk\u00e5ret utgiftene inn til beinet, har resultert i at K2 per mars i \u00e5r g\u00e5r i balanse. L\u00f8nnsutgiftene viser et underforbruk p\u00e5 kr 0,5 millioner i forhold til budsjett noe som skyldes permisjoner og sykemeldinger. Prognosen tilsier da at K2 \u00f8konomien i \u00e5r vil g\u00e5 i balanse.<\/p>\n<p>Det endelige underskuddet i fjor ble kr 3.1 millioner. Vi er i dialog med fakultetet om en tilbakebetalingplan for disse pengene. Selv om situasjonen fortsatt er stram, er vi alts\u00e5 i ferd med \u00e5 f\u00e5 kontroll p\u00e5 \u00f8konomien. Det neste m\u00e5let n\u00e5 er at vi p\u00e5 sikt kommer oss videre over i en situasjon hvor instituttet har et \u00f8konomisk handlingsrom. Jeg vil komme tilbake til dette<\/p>\n<p>Per<!--:--><!--:en--><a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/12\/Per-Bakke-.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1074 alignleft\" alt=\"Per Bakke\" src=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/12\/Per-Bakke-.jpg\" width=\"82\" height=\"103\" \/><\/a>For the most part of last year, the financial situation at K2 was a recurring topic in this column and at various meetings. The general tone was that there was a large deficit. As late as November last year, I presented a prognosis which showed that by 2017 we would accumulate a total deficit of kr 18 million, even if we phase out all current positions where natural retirement will occur. After meetings with the Dean&#8217;s office we received a permanent compensation for part of our salary expenses.<\/p>\n<p>This, in addition to us cutting expenses to the bone, has resulted in K2 achieving financial balance by March this year. The salary expenses reveal an underutilization of 0.5 million NOK in relation to the budget, which is caused by leave of absences and sick leaves. The prognosis thus predicts that the financial situation at K2 will be in balance this year.<\/p>\n<p>The final deficit last year turned out to be kr 3.1 million. We are in dialogue with the faculty regarding a back-payment plan for this. Even though the situation remains tight, we are about to acquire control of the financial situation. The next goalwill be a situation where the institute has room for financial maneuvering.
