God rekruttering er ekstremt viktig for den langsiktige utviklingen av instituttet. K2 starter n\u00e5 i v\u00e5r arbeidet med \u00e5 legge rammene for rekruttering framover.<\/p>\n<p>Viktige sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l som skal besvares er hvilke faktorer skal telle med og hvilken vekt skal de ha. Noen av stikkordene er undervisningbehov og \u00a0\u2013kompetanse, forskning , samarbeidsevner og \u00ableadership\u00bb som Amerikanerne like \u00e5 kalle det.<\/p>\n<p>Uavklarte sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l er om nye stillinger skal g\u00e5 til fagomr\u00e5der eller vi skal velge modellen: \u00abWe don\u2019t care what you do as long as you are a leader in your field\u00bb. Hvilken vekt skal universitetsklinikkens \u00f8nsker om spisskompetanse ha? Likeledes m\u00e5 vi diskutere hvilke stillingstyper som er best egnet til \u00e5 l\u00f8se oppgavene vi har, skal vi satse mer p\u00e5 50 og 100 % stillinger p\u00e5 bekostning av 20 % stillinger? Den parteringen av hovedstillinger vi har sett de siste \u00e5rene b\u00f8r kanskje reverseres? Skal vi n\u00e5 ansette flere i tekniske stillinger p\u00e5 bekostning av vitenskapelige stillinger?<\/p>\n<p>Vi vil begynne med \u00e5 samle inn bakgrunnsinformasjon om dagens bemanning, forventede budsjettressurser til nye stillinger, undervisningsbehov (undervisningsregnskap) og vitenskapelig produksjon (Cristin). Dernest vil vi be om innspill fra dere om prinsippene for prioritering, samt begrunnede \u00f8nsker om nye stillinger. Jeg h\u00e5per mange vil engasjere seg.<\/p>\n<p>Velkommen til en viktig og helt sikkert krevende prosess. En detaljert plan for prosessen vil bli publisert i K2 nytt i l\u00f8pet av april.<\/p>\n<p>Eystein Husebye<!--:--><!--:en--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-562\" alt=\"Eystein Husebye\" src=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2013\/11\/Eystein-Husebye-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>New positions at K2<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Despite the tight financial situation at the institute, we must steadily work with future recruitment of staff. \u00a0Good recruitment is extremely important for the long-term development of the institute.\u00a0 This spring, K2 will start working on the framework for future recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>It will be important to single out and weigh the criteria to be used in the recruitment process. Key words are teaching needs and skills, research, cooperation abilities, and leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Unanswered questions are whether or not new positions should be allocated the academic sections or if we should follow the model: &laquo;We don&#8217;t care what you do as long as you are a leader in your field&raquo;.\u00a0 What weight should the university clinics&#8217; wish for specialized skills be given?\u00a0 Likewise, we must discuss what positions are most suitable given the tasks we have \u2013 should we aim for more 50 and 100 % positions at the expense of 20 % positions?\u00a0 Should the division of principal positions into multiple 20% positions as has been the case in recent years be reversed? Should we now hire more people to technical positions at the expense of scientific personnel?<\/p>\n<p>We will begin by collecting background information about the present employment situation, expected budget resources for new positions, teaching needs (undervisningsregnskap) and scientific production (Cristin). Next we will ask for input from you regarding the principles for prioritization, as well as well-founded requests for new positions.\u00a0 I hope many of you will engage actively in this.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to an important and a most certainly, demanding process.
